There will always be a pharmacist available in the hospital for dispensing of drugs and provision of other aspects of pharmaceutical care which may be required.

A. The central dispensing area is staffed and operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A pharmacist is always on-duty.

B. The Supply section functions from 7:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on weekdays, except holidays.

C.The OR pharmacy satellite is open from 6 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday through Thursday and 6 A.M. to 5:00 P.M on Fridays. It is closed on weekends and holidays.

III. Outpatient Pharmacy

A.  OPC Pharmacy, Monday-Friday 8AM-6:30P – 6 Pharmacists; 7 Technicians, 1 Financial counselor, 1 Purchaser, 6 students (Part-time).

B.  Cancer Institute Pharmacy, Monday – Friday 7A–7P – 4 Pharmacists with overlapping shifts; 3 Technicians.

C.  Cancer Institute Pharmacy, Weekends 7A-7P – 1 Weekend Option Pharmacist + 1 Pharmacist from 7A until noon.
