Curriculum

The curriculum is designed to prepare students to enter the practice of pharmacy after completing licensure requirements. The didactic and experiential portions of the curriculum are integrated in such a way as to develop fundamental knowledge while being introduced to the practice through strategically placed introductory pharmacy practice experiences. The acquisition and application of knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become a pharmacist occurs throughout the curriculum. The UAMS College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education in accordance with 2016 Standards.

The UAMS College of Pharmacy adheres to the Arkansas Department of Higher Education’s minimum requirements for credit hour production as defined. View the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board Policies document.
