The curriculum is designed to prepare students to enter the practice of pharmacy after completing licensure requirements. The didactic and experiential portions of the curriculum are integrated in such a way as to develop fundamental knowledge while being introduced to the practice through strategically placed introductory pharmacy practice experiences. The acquisition and application of knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become a pharmacist occurs throughout the curriculum. The UAMS College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education in accordance with 2016 Standards.
