Dr. Yue Pheng Vang was raised in Gentry, Arkansas, before moving to Fort Smith to attend the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. He then moved to Little Rock to attend the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where became one of the first Hmong-American pharmacists to graduate from the UAMS College of Pharmacy. His pharmacy interests include ambulatory care, academia, and literature evaluation.
Yue Pheng is a sportsman and car enthusiast, where in his spare time you can find him out traversing the waterways fishing, wrenching on his car in his garage, or carving the mountain roads.
