Brigette Serfaty, a board-certified nuclear pharmacist, brings more than 25 years of pharmacy & nuclear pharmacy industry experience to her faculty role at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she teaches pharmacy students, nuclear medicine technology students, and nuclear medicine & radiology resident physicians. She also serves as Business Director for Nuclear Education Online.
In her pharmacy career, Dr. Serfaty has held positions in nuclear pharmacy quality & safety, program development & corporate leadership positions for PharmaLogic, Triad Isotopes (now Jubilant), and Cardinal Health (formerly CPSI & Syncor International). In addition to her nuclear pharmacy experience, Brigette has held pharmacy leadership positions in workers’ comp pharmacy benefits for Express Scripts/myMatrixx and Medical Services Company, Inc. She graduated with a PharmD from UAMS College of Pharmacy and has a Masters of Science from Purdue University.
Dr. Serfaty has held positions of national leadership in nuclear pharmacy, including chair of the APhA Section (now SIG) on Nuclear Pharmacy and Vice-Chair of the BPS Nuclear Pharmacy Specialty Council, and has served on numerous APhA committees. She was elected APhA-APPM Fellow in 2011. Dr. Serfaty is also board-certified in lifestyle medicine and health & wellness coaching and runs an executive well-being coaching practice for private and group clients.
