Brigette Serfaty, a board-certified nuclear pharmacist, brings more than 25 years of pharmacy & nuclear pharmacy industry experience to her faculty role at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she teaches pharmacy students, nuclear medicine technology students, and nuclear medicine & radiology resident physicians. She also serves as Business Director for Nuclear Education Online.
In her pharmacy career, Dr. Serfaty has held positions in nuclear pharmacy quality & safety, program development & corporate leadership positions for PharmaLogic, Triad Isotopes (now Jubilant), and Cardinal Health (formerly CPSI & Syncor International). In addition to her nuclear pharmacy experience, Brigette has held pharmacy leadership positions in workers’ comp pharmacy benefits for Express Scripts/myMatrixx and Medical Services Company, Inc. She graduated with a PharmD from UAMS College of Pharmacy and has a Masters of Science from Purdue University.
Dr. Serfaty has held positions of national leadership in nuclear pharmacy including chair of the APhA Section (now SIG) on Nuclear Pharmacy and Vice-Chair of the BPS Nuclear Pharmacy Specialty Council, and has served on numerous APhA committees. She was elected APhA-APPM Fellow in 2011. Dr. Serfaty is also board-certified in lifestyle medicine and health & wellness coaching and runs an executive well-being coaching practice for private and group clients.

Bryan Grassel is a graduate of the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy with more than 10 years’ experience in pharmacy- both in retail and nuclear pharmacy practice settings. Prior to joining the NEO faculty, Bryan served as pharmacy manager for a busy retail pharmacy chain in addition to being a relief pharmacist for the UNM Translational Radiopharmacy. In addition to his pharmacy experience, Bryan also has over 10 years of management experience in various sectors.
Under the mentorship of Kristina Wittstrom, he established his interest in nuclear pharmacy practice as an undergraduate and replaced her position in her retirement in 2020. Bryan serves as pharmacy manager of the University of New Mexico Translational Radiopharmacy, where he is responsible for the pharmacy operation, as well as educating students who rotate through the site.
As faulty for Nuclear Education Online, Bryan is the primary content expert and manages student curriculum progress and completion. He is passionate about educating nuclear pharmacy students and members of the nuclear medicine community.
