Residency and Tuition Waivers

Border State Tuition and Tuition Waivers for Non-resident Applicants:

Applicants from our six border states (MO, MS, LA, OK, TN, TX) pay resident (in-state) tuition rates.

Non-resident applicants who do not reside in a border state may be eligible for the academic tuition waiver. The academic tuition waiver is granted to academically qualified non-resident applicants and will allow them to pay resident (In-state) tuition rates throughout their PharmD program.

Scholarships

The UAMS College of Pharmacy is proud to offer multiple scholarship opportunities, both institutionally and donor funded. These awards are given each year to students who demonstrate qualities such as outstanding academic achievement, leadership involvement, and financial need. The funds come from multiple sources and do not have to be repaid.

Currently, scholarships are available for students, first-year and beyond. Applications for the upcoming academic year are sent via email to all students early in each spring semester.
