- In general, students admitted with funding to the PS-Track will have GPA of 3.40 and GRE scores of 150 verbal, 160 quantitative and 2.5 on Analytical Writing.
- Excellent letters of reference are required and previous research experience is desirable but not required.
- Foreign applicants should obtain scores of 95 on the Internet based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
- To gain admission students are required to obtain the support of a PS-Track specific faculty advisor who holds sufficient resources for the student’s graduate stipend (years 03 & 04) as well as the students research investigations (years 01-04).
- This is somewhat different from how many graduate programs operate; however, the PS-Track faculty feel that in these times of diminishing resources for research programs the best configuration is to admit students who have shown sufficient motivation to identify their specific interests and match them immediately with faculty advisors who have in place activities compatible with the students interests.
