Willie Hicks serves as the Director of Recruitment for the College of Pharmacy (COP) and is responsible for all recruitment efforts. This includes implementing recruitment activities for assigned local and regional territories to attract a competitive applicant pool; monitoring and developing applicant inquiry reports to determine recruitment effectiveness; developing and managing relationships with high school advisors, college deans and dept. chairs, as well as other professional organizations promoting the COP program. Beyond assisting with on-campus events such as open houses, career days, campus tours and new student orientation, Mr. Hicks organizes and participates in recruitment events such as; college fairs, club meetings, and all other opportunities to present on behalf of the COP.
Outside of work Mr. Hicks enjoys spending time with his wife Meredith and their two children; Leah and Kameron. Willie and his family are big softball and basketball fans and spend a good deal of their time traveling for competition and enjoying various restaurants along the way.
