Application Process for Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency

Application Requirements

Applicants must have obtained a degree in pharmacy from an American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE)-accredited college. Candidates must have completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 program or be in the process of completion. Applicants in a program with pending accreditation status may also be considered. Candidates must also be eligible for licensure in the state of Arkansas.

Applicants must submit the following documents to PhORCAS by Jan. 5:

  • Letter of intent
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Three (3) letters of recommendation
  • Official pharmacy school transcript

UAMS College of Pharmacy is a drug free work environment, and employees are required to complete a pre-employment drug screening.
