- Dr. Wang received an MD degree from Hebei Medical University, Hebei, China, a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology from Third Medical University, Chongqing, China, and postdoctoral training in Radiation Biology from University of Iowa, Iowa, USA
- Dr. Wang is Director of Laboratory Operations in College of Pharmacy Division of Radiation Health
- Dr. Wang is Research Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), faculty of the College of Pharmacy Division of Radiation Health, and scientist at Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS).
- Dr. Wang’s research focuses on cancer survivorship issues, particularly radiation-induced enteropathy, and on development of medical countermeasures against radiological/nuclear accidents or terrorism.
- Dr. Wang has published more than 60 peer reviewed scientific articles and book chapters. She is Co-investigator in two R01s, U19 (NIH/NIAID), and HDTRA (Defense Threat Reduction Agency).
