Waivers
Applicants from our six border states (MO, MS, LA, OK, TN, TX) pay resident (in-state) tuition rates.
Non-resident applicants who do not reside in a border state may be eligible for the academic tuition waiver. The academic tuition waiver is granted to academically qualified non-resident applicants and will allow them to pay resident (In-state) tuition rates throughout their PharmD program.
Interview Process
Once an application has been “verified” by PharmCAS, the UAMS College of Pharmacy will review the application and invite qualified applicants to an on-campus interview. This typically occurs within one day after verified status.
Applicants will participate in a multiple-mini interview (MMI) where sociobehavioral skills will be evaluated.
During our three-hour interview day, applicants and their guests will tour the campus, talk with students and faculty, and learn about the program. Family and guests are welcome to attend with applicants.
After the interview, applicants will be contacted within two weeks with an admissions decision.
