Dr. Hernandez received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana Tech University, followed by her Doctorate of Pharmacy at the UAMS College of Pharmacy. She then completed her PGY-1 residency at UAMS Medical Center. Her professional interests include chronic disease state management, transitions of care, and endocrinology. Dr. Hernandez is excited to continue her professional journey at UAMS as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the UAMS College of Pharmacy. She aims to earn her board certification in ambulatory care and become a certified diabetes care and education specialist.

Originally from Grand Prairie, Texas, Dr. Connor graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where she received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2017. She then went on to receive a Master of Public Health Degree in 2019 and a Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2023 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Connor completed her PGY-1 pharmacy residency with the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System in Little Rock. Her professional interest includes providing high-quality care to underserved communities and being an active member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team in the ambulatory care setting. Following residency, she aims to earn her board certification in ambulatory care in addition to becoming a certified diabetes care and education specialist.
