Faculty and Staff in the Division of Pharmaceutical Evaluation & Implementation

As the Director of Research Administration in the UAMS College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice, Adrian J. Williams provides strategic and administrative leadership for the department’s research portfolio. He supports faculty and research teams across the full lifecycle of research, including project development, implementation, evaluation, dissemination, and publication.

Mr. Williams oversees research operations across multiple programs and projects, with responsibilities spanning research administration, grant and contract management, budgeting, regulatory and institutional processes, and program operations. He works closely with faculty, staff, institutional partners, and external collaborators to ensure projects meet scientific, administrative, financial, and sponsor requirements. He also provides leadership and supervision to research staff and trainees and supports the development of efficient systems and infrastructure that strengthen the department’s research enterprise.
